Dean Callison, Executive Director

Dean Callison was appointed Executive Director in January 2011, coming from several years in the financial services industry, real estate, as well as serving as a Vice President of Development for a midwest charity. He has provided executive level leadership as a certified financial planner, charitable coach and vice president for eight years.

Mr. Callison brings proven ability to start and grow a modern business which has shown consistent revenue growth through his entrepreneurial efforts. His abilities align well with the growth momentum being experienced at IBEC. He gives leadership to the consulting firm and works closely with IBEC consultants, employees, clients and the board of directors.

He holds an Economics and Business degree from Taylor University and is a member of several professional organizations. He and his wife Diane and three daughters live in Overland Park, Kansas. 


Larry Sharp, Director of Strategic Partnerships

Larry Sharp lived in Brazil for 21 years where he served as headmaster of the Amazon Valley Academy and as president of a Brazilian international NGO. Before becoming founding Executive Director of IBEC Ventures in 2007, he was Vice President of Operations for an international agency for 16 years.

He contributes to IBEC Ventures by focusing on increasing the partnerships which contribute to IBEC's vision and goals. He is a key liaison person with strategic schools, agencies and individuals and propels such things as internships, vision trips, and writing and speaking on behalf of IBEC. As an educator, he serves in a coaching and teaching role.

Larry holds degrees in business and economics (BA), and international education (MA, PhD – Calgary).  He has been married to Vicki for over 40 years and is the father of four grown children, two working in the international arena and two in US businesses.


Bob Johnstone, President of the Board

Bob Johnstone is a career aeronautical engineer  (BS, Penn State) with much of his career working in the US Navy on top security national defense projects. For the last 15 years of his career he served in upper management focusing on the development of US advanced weapon systems for sensitive projects. While living in Washington, DC he developed important international connections.

Bob is a founding member of IBEC Ventures and continues to bring a wealth of business leadership, drawn not only from industry but also from many years working for various NGOs and international agencies where he pursued strategic leadership training and mentoring.

Bob and Jane have four grown children and several grandchildren.  They live on a little farm in the Philadelphia suburbs.
